Finishes

A variety of finishing methods can elevate your packaging from good to exceptional. We provide a range of surface treatments and finishes, applied in-house after printing, to protect the carton, lift the artwork and make it harder to copy.

What we apply

Anti-counterfeit packaging
Security features printed and finished into the carton itself, so they cannot be peeled off and moved to a fake.
Colour-shifting seal
An ink that changes colour as the carton is tilted: a quick check of authenticity that an ordinary printer cannot reproduce.
Lamination
A thin film bonded over the printed board, in gloss or matte, for a tougher surface that resists scuffs and moisture.
Food-grade coatings (water base)
Water-base, low-migration coatings safe for packaging that touches food or medicine, with a clean, bright gloss.
Drip-off coatings
Matte and gloss on one sheet: the gloss stands out in relief against a matte ground, without a second pass.
Thermal foiling
Metallic foil fused to the board with heat for logos, borders and highlights.
Hot stamping (foiling)
A heated die presses metallic or holographic foil into the board for a crisp, raised finish that doubles as a security layer.
UV and spot UV
A clear UV gloss over the whole sheet to deepen the colours and protect the print, or on chosen areas only for a raised, textured accent.
